【摘要】:Inthedistributionsystem,thepackagedproductmaybestoredforaperiodoftimeinamannersuchthatoneormorecontainersarestackedononeanother.Thebottompackageisthuscontinuallysubjectedtoaconstantcompressionload.Thistestmethodsubjectsanemptycontainertoapredeterminedstaticloadandtospecifiedatmosphericconditions,ifrequired,overashortperiodoftimeusingfixedplatencompressiontestingequipment.Deflectionismeasuredovertime.Deflectionversustimedatacanbeusedtopredicttimetofailureofcorrugatedshippingcontainersunderconstantload.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminingtheresistanceofanemptypapercorrugatedshippingcontainertoaverticallyappliedconstantcompressionloadforaspecifiedtime.Thetestmethodmayalsoincludepalletizedorunitizedloadsmadeofsuchcontainers.Theboxesaretestedintheorientationthattheyaremostlikelytobestackedinaunitizedorpalletizedload.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
