【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisoneofaseriesofstandardsdescribingthecharacteristicsforidentificationcardsasdefinedinthedefinitionsclauseandtheuseofsuchcardsforinternationalinterchange.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalcharacteristicsofidentificationcardsincludingcardmaterials,construction,characteristics,anddimensionsforfoursizesofcards.ISO/IEC10373-1specifiesthetestproceduresusedtocheckcardsagainsttheparametersspecifiedinthisInternationalStandard.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsforcardsusedforidentification.Ittakesintoconsiderationbothhumanandmachineaspectsandstatesminimumrequirements.Itisthepurposeofthisseriesofstandardstoprovidecriteriatowhichcardsshallperform.Noconsiderationisgivenwithinthesestandardstotheamountofuse,ifany,experiencedbythecardpriortotest.Failuretoconformtospecifiedcriteriashouldbenegotiatedbetweentheinvolvedparties.NOTE1NumericvaluesintheSIand/orImperialmeasurementsysteminthisInternationalStandardmayhavebeenroundedoffandthereforeareconsistentwith,butnotexactlyequalto,eachother.Eithersystemmaybeused,butthetwoshouldnotbeintermixedorreconverted.TheoriginaldesignwasmadeusingtheImperialmeasurementsystem.NOTE2Adifferentstandardforthinflexiblecardsexists.ThinflexiblecardsarenotwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.
